This list is not as exhaustive as I’d wish it to be since Uganda is one of those countries that use a lot of slang and jargon.   1. This is amazing! It made recall one of my professor of economics who visited Australia and visited a restaurant. The waiter asked him if he wanted to be served. He said ‘thank you’ thinking it was a polite way of telling the waiter to serve him. He ended up staying for more than 2hrs without being served and starving since the waiter knew that by saying thank you, he didn’t want anything. It is therefore important to understand people culture when visiting any place.

  3. I think I will start visiting Busia border for a chance to interact with many Ugandans. I will have mastered much of their languages by the time I will be leaving.

  4. I like the term Kafulu it reminds me of my days when I was doing my Nation Building our instructor did like to use that term thanks for waking my memory I’ll be on boda to Uganda
